Online Test

Training remains incomplete without proper evaluation that measures the level of understanding of a new language. The level of a language learner’s mastery can then act as a base for appropriate further learning. Often, language tests are also used by employers to ascertain a potential employee’s proficiency in a particular language.

Globibo has designed an online test module to measure the language proficiency level of learners. The test is available for use by individuals as well as organisations. Our training services are coupled with the end evaluation online tests that can be attempted at the convenience of the individual at his own comfort or at one of our training centers.

Globibo follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) The CEFR is a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe and, increasingly, in other countries. It was put together by the Council of Europe as the main part of the project "Language Learning for European Citizenship" between 1989 and 1996. Its aim is to provide a method of assessing and teaching which applies to all languages in Europe. In November 2001 a European Union Council Resolution recommended using the CEFR to set up systems of validation of language ability. The six reference levels are becoming widely accepted as the European standard for grading an individual's language proficiency. Nonetheless, existing examination boards have retained their own naming conventions, e.g. "Intermediate", which is, arguably, easier for them, and their students, to remember.
