Tour Guide Systems

A professional Tour Guide System is a great starting point for presenters that wish to ensure their visitors to understand every word. A professional Tour Guide System is ideal for indoor as well as outdoor tours of any venue. Our Tour Guide Solutions cover a broad spectrum of different options for small or larger events.

Tour Guide System Headsets

Tour Guide System Receiver The first key components of a Tour Guide or Mobile Interpretation System are the Headsets or Receivers used from the participants. The headsets have to be comfortable for the participants as well as provide the right battery lifetime and connectivity reach. With years of experience around the world we balance Quality and Cost to offer you the best solution for your event. We offer different technologies as well as headsets (ear hooks, headband, etc) to support your setup the best way possible.

The different models of receivers and headbands have different reach, frequencies and battery life-time. Some are designed for indoor or outdoor usage. Key criteria are :
  • Reach
  • Frequency
  • Battery life
  • Headset jacks
  • Volume / Channel buttons
  • Display size
  • Weight
  • Dimensions
For an overview of the options and more images, please read more : Tour Guide System Receivers & Headsets

Tour Guide System Transmitter

Tour Guide System Transmitter The basic Tour Guide or Mobile Interpretation System Infrastructure requires the right transmitters. Transmitters determine the range in which headsets can receive the audio transmission. Furthermore, most transmitters are capable of broadcasting several parallel channels, for example in an environment in which interpreters translate the presentation into different languages. Transmitters are also battery-powered to ensure mobility.

Key Criteria for Transmitter selection are:
  • Reach
  • Frequency
  • Battery life
  • Microphone jacks
  • Volume / Channel buttons
  • Display size
  • Weight (including microphone)
  • Dimensions
For an overview of the options and more images, please read more : Tour Guide System Transmitters

Tour Guide System Charging

Using Tour Guide Systems in larger events requires sophisticated charging infrastructure. This infrastructure is needed to limit the total number of units required while maintaining the right connectivity for all participants. With our charging cases and high-speed charging concepts we ensure that you are up and running as quickly as possible and save time and money during your event. The charging infrastructure works on common electricity sockets and is conveniently packaged into mobile suitcases with wheels.

Key Criteria for the Charging Cases are:
  • Transport Options
  • Casing
  • Capacity
  • Electricity Connection
  • Ventilation
For an overview of the options and more images, please read more : Tour Guide System Charging Infrastructure

Tour Guide System Microphones

Tour Guide Systems come with a variety of different microphones to ensure the presenter is understood in the right environment. The right microphones are not just determined by the transmission technology but also the presentation environment (e.g noise factory or windy weather). Furthermore microphones may have to be waterproof and provide independent power supply for a specific number of hours. To learn more about the different types of microphones, please contact us.

Key Criteria for the Microphone selection are:
  • Comfort
  • Volume (dbV)
  • Jack / Connector
  • Smitten
  • Wired/wireless
  • Re-useable / disposable
  • Packaging

Tour Guide System Microphone Options

The Tour Guide System Transmitter requires a microphone for the speaker. The microphones can be different based on the convenience of the speaker and setup of the event.
For more information please check out Tour Guide System Microphones.

Neckband Microphones

A standard option is the neckband microphone. It allows the hands-free operation and therefore the largest comfort to the speaker. The microphone direction itself is adjustable.

Cabled Hand-held Microphones

Cabled TGS microphones are another option for Tours. Speakers and Tour Guides may have different personal preferences. Often the neckband microphones are more convenient but have lower audio-quality. The cabled hand-held microphones are slightly less convenient but may provide better audio-quality.

Cabled Hand-held Microphones

Lapel Microphones

The Lapel Microphone is clipped to the collar / blouse / jacket of the speaker and is another hands-free option for the speaker. It is also called clip-on microphone.

Wireless Hand-held Microphones

A large variety of Wireless microphones provide some more comfort to the speaker. The range between the microphone and base station is determined by the specific model and can vary largely.
