Silent Conferences are a great solution using 1 hall/room for multiple parallel speakers or tracks. The technical setup limits the audio from multiple parallel presenters to specific listeners. Considering that the audio from the presenters is not broadcasted via loudspeakers ensures that participants have an undisturbed listening experience.
Globibo’s Silent Conference system comprises of a discussion or conference microphone system for multiple speakers (like Digimic, CDSVAN or mixing console), multiple transmitters (IR or FM components) and infrared/FM receivers.
The audio signal from the speaker or presenter is directly sourced from a discussion or microphone management system or mixing console. Usually, there are multiple conference microphones in different areas of the room that facilitate multiple speakers/presenters to speak at the same time.
The transmitter processes the audio signals from the different speakers and broadcasts multiple signals to wireless receivers. Each participant will be having their own infrared or FM receiver. The audio volume and channel can be smoothly adjusted as per the participant’s interests and preferences.
Globibo’s portable interpreter booth provides working accommodation for two speakers or interpreters. The conference booths used in silence conference systems are specially designed to ensure a high degree of noise cancellation. The vertical modules are made of a robust outer hardwood frame which surrounds a central panel made of a soundproofing laminate material. The booth is designed to take two low noise tangential fans ensuring an adequate amount of air circulating in the booth. In addition, two reading lamps are provided for each booth.Detailed Information about our Conference Booth
The Interpreter Console is designed for the transmission of multiple channels. The control panel is divided into clearly organized function-oriented sections:
Via the two "Monitoring" function the interpreter can choose between an interpretation channel and the ORIGINAL channel using the RELAIS toggle switch. Volume, bass and treble are individually adjustable via separate controls. The HEARING GUARD function draws the interpreter's attention to the fact that the volume of his headphones is too high and his hearing is being put under too much strain.
Globibo provides different types of Infrared and FM Receivers for Silent Conference Events. The Brahler IRX32 is one of the most solid choices for conferences. Using infrared frequencies paired with proprietary radiators ensures highly secure environments and has been proven in thousands of conferences around the world. FM receiver solutions are also an option and sometimes provide a more cost-efficient approach.

Silent Conferences can also be facilitated via software / mobile app solutions. The software-based solutions have advantages and disadvantages:
The setup and planning of the Silent Conference vary largely for every event. Please contact our team of project managers and engineers for advice on your potential project.
We certainly also provide all transmitters, radiators, transponders, etc required to ensure the event runs as perfect as it should be. For more information, please contact us or check out our other Web pages.
Silent conference systems are used when parallel sessions with separate presenters take place parallely, at the same time and same location. The Silent Conference System allows broadcasting audio to headsets so that participants can listen to their presenter at the same time without being disturbed by other presenters.
No additional Audio-Visual equipment is required for Silent conferencing. Instead of playing the audio through a public speaker, it's broadcasted via a radio / infrared channel.
Yes, presenters can use their own microphone and it can be integrated into the silent conference system.
