US Court Renew Lawsuit Against Alibaba
Dec 6th, an appeal court in the US renewed the lawsuit against Alibaba for hiding warnings from the authorities on its selling of counterfeit products during IPO, which may constitute a fraud against investors.
The Supreme Court, the Supreme Procuratorate and the Ministry of Public Security of PRC released joint Guidelines on Telecommunication Scam Crimininal Conviction. According to the Guideline, suspects who send over 5,000 messages, call over 500 numbers will be charged with Fraud (attempted). Makers of phishing webpage with over 5,000 views will be sentenced 3-10 years in prison.
