Sales Support Executive – Vietnam

As a Sales Support Executive, you will support inbound enquiries with regards to our translation and training services from several markets such as Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore and drive regional government /corporate tender submissions. You will report to the Sales Director.

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam (currently Work-Remote role)

Your Impact:

1. Customer Service/ Inbound Sales – 45%

  • To answer all enquiries on the organization’s communication channels in a timely manner:
    (i) Website ‘live’ chat app
    (ii) Customer service/sales inbox for Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Philippines
  • To prepare and send quotations for simple sales enquiries
  • To promptly forward certain types of sales enquiries to the respective account managers for immediate follow-up
  • To call clients for feedback:
    (i) For sent quotations and amend pricing where necessary to close the deal
    (ii) If they reject a quotation, to find out where we can improve
    (iii) After a service is delivered, to find out what we did well, and where we can improve

2.Tender Management – 45%

  • To prepare and submit tenders on our key service lines
  • To identify new tender portals and ensure that we submit tenders across a variety of tender portals
  • To shortlist potential tenders that we can submit and discuss requirements with our delivery team
  • To customize our tender submissions pitches according to the audience and the service line we are pitching for
  • Lost tenders: to call the persons in charge of the respective tenders to ask for feedback on improvement areas

3. Local Operations and Onsite support -10%

  • Operational support at local/Vietnam projects

Your Career Path:

  • Learn about the complexities and exciting aspects of supporting the Sales team on a regional scope and working with virtual/remote teams
  • Develop expertise working on respective country government / corporate tenders and their procurement portals/ systems
  • Develop understanding of the stages of the sales process for Language learning and Event Technology, how it is managed and overall impact to the business
  • Potential next steps:
    1) Senior sales support covering a larger market
    2) Business Development / Account Management
    3) Strategic Accounts

Your Potential Profile:

  • 4-5 years of experience in corporate sales or sales support function
  • Self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently
  • Great communication skills, Fluent English required (speaking) to communicate with regional clients
  • Highly motivated and independent individual with an eye for detail and analytical skills
  • Ideally passionate about language learning or event technology services
  • Prior experience with preparing complex quotations and contracts would be ideal
