Wafer Investment Continue to Rise
According to SEMI’s data, presently there are 78 new wafer factories and production lines being build around the world during 2017-2020. Equipments worth USD220 billion will be needed for them, among which USD63 billion will be from South Korea, USD62 billion from China, USD22 billion from Japan, USD15 billion from America and USD8 from Europe and Southeast Asia combined.

September 12th, Chinese electric car maker NIO is to IPO in NYSE today. Price will be at the lower end of its USD6.25-8.25 range. Based on 1,600 million ADs and not more than 240 million shares placement, NIO is to raise as much as USD1.15 billion.
